Modern Metaphysics

Love, retrieval from the depths

What if I have written about love? You see, I consider it one of the two principles of expressed divinity. But today I will try to forget metaphysics and give you some of my thoughts that touch on the concept that concerns the human being. Just a tiny metaphysical parenthesis.  The principle of Love, together with the principle of Wisdom, is what led creation from A to Z. And there, at the end of the spiritual creation, the concept of love, again together with the corresponding wisdom, are the ones that will lead the child of the spiritual creation from Z to A. So love de profundis. The words “Retrieval from the depths” of the title are, as you would have already understood, a falsification of the term. It is not about retrieving this concept from my mental depths, but about bringing to the surface the essence of the word

My good-man, how can I establish “Us” if I do not win the “Me’?

Let’s get it from the start, but this time I will try to keep it here and now. Clearly, we are all concerned with great metaphysical ideas, but maybe we should look at things in the eyes! We should stop with the nonsense that leads us to dead ends. I have spoken with many of those who talk about “we” and “love thy neighbor,” and unfortunately, while they are right, they keep a purely utopian approach to the subject. I will try to be more explicit. Let’s check it from a math point of view and focus on the idea of the whole. The total is a collection of unique objects. The definition is not mine. If we now draw a circle, for example, and say that this is a group, it does not stand unless we define some things or ideas in it. For instance: If we put colored

The rear view of the backside? Isn’t that the front side?

“Why, who says so?” “Well, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out it’s a pseudo question!”  It’s literally a false dilemma, and I agree without hesitation. In our absolute world, there is a front and a rearview. It is self-evident -and I would add at the same time utterly reasonable- that the backs of all things can only have a single front face, and this is what we see. But once we turn an object to look at its back, this new view automatically becomes our front view -since it is in front of us now- and the front face has become the backside. The absurd is hidden in the concept of the word ‘front view.’ Our front view is not necessarily the front side of an object. For the objects, I do not think the whole concept is crucial. We can quickly overcome the trap by accepting that

There is an eye of justice that sees everything.

“It is omnipresent and omniscient,” as well as “the eye of justice sees everything”. Right? It is more or less the same, although the second quote is of ancient Greek origin, like many others, but for simplicity’s sake, let’s stick to quotes originating on Earth. Though omnipresent on Earth, it remains unseen. Many believe it listens, but it never responds; even those who think they’re communicating can’t be certain. Primarily, because terrestrial ecosystems likely lack the ability to hear. However, the concept we are referring to is everywhere. On top of all, it fills up everything. No matter what you do, you’ll find it there and while it oversees everything, it lets the worst unfold. What is the point of an all-seeing eye of justice if it does nothing about what it sees? Somehow it reminds me of something else… Enough beating around the bush; it’s time to call a

Artificial Intelligence and Human Being

They have driven us crazy with Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI is doing this, AI is doing that. AI will take our jobs. It will enslave us, it will… and so on… Speaking of which, if we placed part of this AI in the parliament, it would probably legislate better. But first things first. I had written in the past that in the name of convenience; we let the talent fade away, allowing the talentless to rule while they turned to artificial intelligence to fill their void. As a writer, a novelist to be exact, in 2015 in a science fiction trilogy, I too have described the humanization of artificial intelligence and its possible further course. After so many years, a lot has happened and even more has been said about AI. I agree with the theses, not all of them, but I disagree with the interpretations. They say, for example,

Memory and time, a misunderstood relationship

There is not the slightest doubt that at some point, the road to Teleiosis (completion) for each one of us will reach its end. But the road of Teleiosis is not a road of a certain distance. It is the totality of the accumulated elements that we have gained in life at the time we pass the gate of the afterlife. You see, life is not something that lasts forever, of course, for some lasts longer than others, but eventually it comes to an end. It’s impossible to know what happens next or even if there will be any continuation. But one thing is for sure that when that moment comes, I would like to have in my life’s baggage those endowments that will allow me any kind of continuation. If I step back and reflect on the nature of these elements, I will automatically discard all the material goods

The Fairy Tale of Enlightenment

The mother of all fairy tales. So many stories have been told about poor enlightenment, everyone has received it, all has been served. From the apostles of Jesus, to the modern disciples and also the so-called esoteric teachers of today. I’ll start with a small parenthesis. If we take a 1.5 volt flashlight bulb and connect it to a 220 volt supply, one thing is for sure, the bulb will not turn on. It will explode in our hands or face if we are standing by. Same goes for higher voltage lights. Only the ones designed for the specific power source will illuminate.  In addition, let’s examine the relationship between cause and effect. One more term, the medium, is often overlooked in this universal law. The cause applies to the medium to get an effect. This is also the reason this law is known as the Law of Cause-Medium-Effect.  When

The Dreamy Trilogy of Time

The title, The Dreamy Trilogy of Time, contains two strands that need immediate interpretation, at least as far as the meaning I attribute to them. Which trilogy it is and why is it dreamlike. As for the first one, the answer is simple. Past, present, future. Before, now, after. Yesterday, today, tomorrow. Pick whichever one you like. Be careful though, there is a trap. Before, now, after and yesterday, today, tomorrow, are not the same. Its difference lies in the process’s amplitude. And what is related to the amplitude is the dream part of time. What is time? Is it a river flowing before our eyes from the past to shape the future in the present? Or is the flow reversed? Does the future fuse to the present to become the past?  My personal assessment is that both happen at the same time. Both the distant past provide elements to

About Good and Bad

Perhaps one of the most important issues and problems of the modern man who wants to walk the path of completion is to understand the difference and also the way these two opposing terms, good and evil, work. But things are not that easy. I am borrowing two terms from a teacher of esotericism, D. Semelas, those of the creative factor and the corresponding destructive or otherwise transformative one. Whatever we call them, they are nothing more than the terms of order and disorder, or even those of organization and chaos. As words, however, they are more understandable since one factor, one force, creates while the other destroys, or rather transforms. Make no mistake, they are both necessary for creation. Nothing in creation is superfluous. The way these powers are used determines the degree of their necessity. On the material level, everything looks clear. Cosmic explosions will destroy something and

The Fairy tale of Higher Dimensions

Having been pointed out by a good friend that perhaps the word “fairy tale” that I occasionally use in the titles of my posts may not be the most appropriate for my purpose, I tried to find another, but to no avail. The meaning I give it is that of the paraphrasing of the original meaning, because of the many that are heard, and therefore, the misunderstanding of a clearer interpretation. So let’s go check the fairy tale of the higher dimensions. Initially, when we refer to dimensions, our mind justifiably goes to mathematical concepts. As far as I am concerned, there are only those that characterize the space and they are strictly three. Fewer or more are physical-mathematical concepts and should be treated as such. My goal is not to refer to them. I declare ineligible. You might ask, what makes you fit to refer to any other concept?

Let’s know ourselves! It is about time!

Self-awareness everywhere and for everyone. This word is commonly used within the circles of metaphysical and socio-psychological groups, who are dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey towards wholeness. Are they wrong? Of course not. But they are not right either. Nowadays, the need for self-awareness has passed from the stage of revelation to that of common acceptance. So now, each of us can refer with ease to that. Of course, by that, I don’t encourage continuous talks on self awareness from everyone. Not to mention every poor fellow that feels the need to state something exceptional and over-analyse this ancient suggestion. Isn’t it strange thought that every teacher and master speaks about accomplishing self awareness as if it is the easiest thing in the world? Can this otherwise correct and well-founded motivation hide something more? Theoretically, the recognition of cons and the attempt to initially balance them, following the

The human three bodies!

Believe me, when I started writing about the human three bodies, the last thing that crossed my mind was Liu Cixin’s book “The Three-Body Problem”. The novels are delightful and their film adaptation is even better, but our problem with the three bodies is completely different. At this point, our personal path is the most crucial issue to focus. The first thing that must be understood is that everything we said in our recent posts, i.e. adversities and opposites, fight a battle of their own for what we call the emotional world or otherwise the soul. Soul, in its overall total, is one of the three forms that every human being has on a personal level. Each human has a physical, a mental form, and a spiritual form. It is inside the second form that the sexual confusion occurs, along with many other ideologies, which many try to shift in

God, the one that cannot see!

It is fascinating to note that the word God, in all its diverse manifestations, has found its way into the lexicon of virtually every language spoken worldwide. But the fundamental question has to do with interpreting the word and not how the word appeared. How many of those who tear their hair can tell us anything more than what they parrot from the various scriptures? Why does the fair god accept so many injustices? Why doesn’t the merciful god take care of the many sufferers? And many more that every embittered believer faces by projecting a completely meaningless theory. They tell them and whistle nonchalantly that people are being punished for mistakes in their past lives. Anyway there is no end to the list of these sort of questions.  Mercy! Shame, catholically protesting Christians, but also all of you of other religious denominations! And the first conclusion is that 99%

Meditation and not only!

This time, we will discuss the general idea of meditation (and not only). And not to be misunderstood from the start, I am not against meditation. But meditation is not taking a nap and consider yourself meditating. You will tell me that this does not happen to you, but to others. I refer to them and only to them. I don’t dare to speak about what you re doing. You are doing everything the right way. Let’s start from scratch. First, you isolate yourself in a proper place. You sat in a chair or better, in that difficult position that yogis (and not all of them) take. You closed your eyes and focused on the voice of your chosen one that, from the speaker on your phone, directs you to your meditative exercise. His or her voice, commanding and steady, tells you to inhale deeply, then exhale. When he thinks

About Passions

It is one thing to talk about freedom and completely different to do whatever comes to mind, letting our passions unrestrained. Every person, and especially those who want to be called civilized, must develop the technique that will allow them to tame their passions. What is passion? Passion is, by general acceptance, any unrestrainedness of the soul that can hinder a person’s freedom. With this definition, which I copied from some book, we are given the interpretation of the term as well as its limit. It is well known that our soul is anything but stable. And how could it really be stable when the very reason for its existence is to act as an intermediate aspect to ensure the possibility of communication between the two extremes? The vulnerability of the soul is its basic characteristic. I would say it is its functional characteristic. But this vulnerability is controlled by

About Death view

Nothing is born that at some point, that something does not die. And this is not something that is negotiable or can be considered having some other interpretation. It is completely clear. Whatever is born, dies. Man now is a different story, but finally he follows the same law. There is the moment of birth and the moment of death.  The moment of birth may not be completely clear. Many say it is when conception occurs. Still others say it is when the infant takes its first breath. Of course, there are other interpretations. But somewhere between conception and the first breath is when the person begins his life. And at some point, there is death. But he is not clear either. Because from the moment the person stops breathing until the moment his body ceases to exist, there is some time and somewhere in between, in this period, there is

Soul sister, soul mates or just sisters?

Soul sister? Let’s start with some numbers. Humanity today numbers about 8 billion. As a general estimation, half of them are women and the other men. I stand by the common opinion that a soul mate basically belongs to the opposite sex. If we divide these 4 billion of any category into the four age groups, we have 1 billion people in each group of people who are, of course, scattered at the four points on the horizon. So finding a soulmate – according to those who believe in such a thing – at least statistically is impossible. Being born in the same place and time is like winning a cosmic lottery. And I ask: How come so many believe they have already found their soul mate? Have they found something else, or does this belief also have another interpretation? If in the “Sister” place, we put the word “Similar

About the mess of Timelines!

Let’s talk a bit about the concept of the timeline. And I say a bit, because it is not one of those subjects that a simple metaphysical vignette can complete. What does it mean beyond the obvious, and what is its metaphysical approach, if any? I think we all understand the obvious interpretation. A series of moments that characterize an event. The timeline of a trip includes all moments from the moment the trip is decided until it is completed. I think this is understandable. Each timeline, if it does not belong to a completed event, basically has two parts. The part from its beginning until now, and the second part from now until its completion. And this is where all beautiful things start. Its first part is specific. It is fixed and unchanging. But the second is a bunch of different scenarios and therefore it is many possible timelines

Know thyself fairy tale.

I begin by stating that the saying “Know thyself” is a very important frontispiece to ancient wisdom and needs special consideration. But where does it belong? Is it a state of being that has to be earned, or is it an element of the tripartite motivation-medium-effect that, wanting or not, is the motive of our lives? Is it about our past, our present, or our future? One thing is for sure. Knowledge of the self and any customization that may be behind such an important statement have as many pitfalls as the benefits it promises without promising. The first and most important problem facing a person who will accept the above exhortation and will try to put into practice is that he understands everything by the degree of consciousness he has at the specific time of his life.  And this period belongs, as time, in the here and now. This

Ego, one more fairy tale!

Our subject is once again Ego. A reader might ask, how is it connected to a man’s attempt to get to know himself and to walk the path of integration? And yet, it all starts with understanding what the word ‘Εgo’ means and how the concept of egotism follows. Let’s start with its meaning and try to give an explanation by interpreting the letters that make it up. I will borrow the individual interpretations of each letter from the book of the thinker-scholar of the ancient Greek language, Elias Tsatsomiros. His book is called the History of the Birth of the Greek Language. I am trying to explain the word Ego as it appeared for the first time, at least in the Western Civilization, in the Greek language. We are talking about three letters. Ε, G, and Omega (correct writing of O in the Greek language). The letter ‘E’ denotes

The Fairy Tale of Life!

Red thread, wrapped in a spinning wheel! Give it a kick to turn for the fairy tale to begin.  Fairy tales are for serious thought and we, here, on the internet have proven ourselves to be lacking in even common sense. The difference is that instead of pills we wear glasses. Colorful. Blue and red mostly, but if you don’t want to take off your glasses, how do you expect to see? Anyway, my thoughts concern the movie Matrix and its connection to life. The first truth, in my humble opinion, is that even if you swallow an entire pharmacy of colorful pills, when the alarm clock sounds, you’ll be back in your bed. The same happens with glasses. Whichever color you choose, once again, you will see your boss, who will not only wave at you menacingly but also show you occasionally the middle finger. My purpose is not

Reincarnation Fairy Tale

A better title could be: The reasons I do not believe in reincarnation. You might ask, so what? Well, since I want you to read the rest of the article, I will state the reasons for that. The first thing that comes to mind is that this is an immoral process. The second is that it is also useless. It does not seem to lead anywhere. What it stands for is not carved in stone, and there is not a logical reference system to support such an extreme interpretation of life. For the record, I have written again about this topic and in fact this post is an updated post of that article. But first, let’s see what we are talking about. Which word expresses exactly what it means? Are you sure you chose the right one? Did you mean reincarnation or metempsychosis? Is it Incarnation or is it something

Hell, a fairy tale!

Fairy tale or not, I doubt if there is any other topic that so many artists have painted or tried to describe. Do they know something we don’t or are they confused about it? Let’s take it from scratch. If there is a hell, there must be a paradise. One cannot exist without the other. I have reiterated my view of these places of recreation. I had stated that they were in the same park since the wicked serpent was a frequent visitor. However, soon after, the nice ones kept for themselves the part of the land with the magnificent view. They left for the evil ones the degraded dark part. Hell has no plants, no animals, and a beastie dog is guarding its gate, as if anyone would like to enter. But beware, in paradise there is the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Whoever eats its fruit

The Path to the Hyperego

The evolution and the human! A lot has been written, and even more has been said about what a human being is and what his life course should be. So the modern thinker comes to wonder: Why is there so much dispersion of opinion? Is there, or is there not a THEREFORE to sum up all in one accepted position? I will honestly answer that I do not know. My personal conclusion has to do with what I read and think, but I have not studied every single point of view. In the course of my life, I followed various paths, each of which led me to new pathways that fortunately converged from a certain point forward. Do not misunderstand when I write, I followed different paths. All people, even those who don’t admit it, follow their own path that eventually leads them to the end they have unconsciously set.

Passport vs. Identity Card

This short post of mine is a thought I want to share with my Christian friends. Another title is the path of Golgotha through my own eyes. The text is deliberately out of date. I respect the religious beliefs of the entire world, and I do not intend to intrigue anyone. I respect even those who do not have, or think they do not have religious beliefs. I start with the title. Passport versus ID Card. First, let’s look at the passport. Everything was clear as far as the name and the situation are concerned. It was written in broad letters JESUS, the son of God. And that’s where everything ends. If you are the son of God and without other siblings, nothing is worth the trouble. Everything is easy. Even if you break the car, the good and rich dad will buy you another. Leave humanity at its destiny!
