[James]… The image that was coming together piece by piece was as if a digital photograph of a man and woman on the beach was trying to formulate with but a few pixels. Just as something was about to take shape, the waves would come and wash it all away. With constant repetition, his brain synapses started to form the image, not letting the waves wash it away. Yet the woman didn’t have a face, and neither did the man.
